do you love parquet as much as we do?
Parquet is classic and timeless, from a 1,700’s house in southern France, to a classic home or contemporary apartment on the Wellington waterfront. Parquet has been used widely in Europe, South America and other parts of the world for centuries. Many parquet floors have lasted for generations, and frankly, the older the better, a bit like a classic wine.
It is the ultimate and stylish backdrop which will enhance and lift any room, it provides a sense of both space and grace. It is elegant and yet at the same time can be understated.
We’ve supplied and fitted thousands of wooden floors and ranking highly on our list of all-time favourites are parquet floors.

about us
At James Henry we supply and fit solid, engineered and recycled timber floors. Our clients are generally boomers and Gen Xers building or renovating their homes or holiday homes. We often engage with our clients’ designers or architects, the discussions can start at the beginning of the planning stage, well before the build is consented or in some cases closer to completion.
We also undertake a range of commerical work from hospo fit outs to public spaces.
Our team are all trade qualified or engaged in an apprentice training programme. Most of our team have been with us for most of their working careers.
